After visiting Chill Cool – we fancied a final drink and we went over the road to the Norfolk Arms. Once a run of the mill English pub, the Norfolk Arms has been transformed into a gastro pub with a Spanish bias. It is mostly Spanish, but does have Hummus, Taramosalta and Babaganoush on its tapas menu – things you’d be hard pushed to find in Spain. The main menu reminds me of the Bull and Last.
We had a couple of red wines and being only 98% full, a tapa of Saganaky – a delicious, Greek, baked feta and chilli dish, served with home made pita bread.
The Spanish, hanging hams, chorizos and lomos, not to mention the interesting menu, makes this somewhere I want to come back to, to eat – watch this space.
The Norfolk Arms is at 28 Leigh Street, WC1H 9EP.
