Thanks for a year of great posts. Are those mince pies? Or a Spanish variant. I read that Danny Lidgate had introduced mince beef into his mince pies and they have been flying out of the shop in W11.
Thanks Sue – I did think, when I was making them, that they might be nice as pork pies, instead of the traditional shape… I’m not surprised that beef in mince pies sells well – if I remember correctly, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall did similar with lamb mince, a few years ago at River Cottage.
Mad – methinks you know!!! Just: thank you and, please, keep on keeping on !!!!
Thanks Eha – I hope you have a fantastic Christmas down under. I distinctly remember a Christmas morning barbie in Wagga Wagga with full AC for sit down turkey in the afternoon …though that was many years ago.
OMG – you just may understand!! The Wagga . . . . hmmm: nope and no disrespect whatsoever!! ‘The’ turkey ain’t my ‘bird’ as you may have gathered !! Very happy with what you are having actually . . . . waiting for your next ‘call . . . .. have a tinnie on me . . . .
